Ooops, look who face planted the pavement this morning! (Taken with instagram)
Last night Jess and I managed a small night out in Glasgow, it’s been a while so we were really looking forward to it. Plans hit a snag on Wednesday, my mum who was going to be taking the kids overnight called to say she’d been struck by the Norovirus and so is to be isolated from all contact with people (especially kids), so my dad instead offered to babysit at our house.
We’re so glad he did, it was just what Jess and I needed, Italian stonebaked pizza and a few drinks with new friends in the hot Scottish evening, it was brilliant.
We also spotted this little delight on the menu and had to photograph for Lazydad, we’re sure he’d have loved it.
P.S if you know what’s in a haggis and don’t like it, Don’t look up black puddin’
It’s been a very warm couple of days, 25’C+ (77’F) which is way too warm for us Scots, we’re more accustomed to wooly hats and boots in May, not shorts and vests.
Ivey rocked this little rockerbilly dress today, it kept her nice and cool, but she still drank loads and loads.
Looking forward to a nice cool evening relaxing with the wife while the kids have an early night.
New fish tank now up and running! Yippee!
Now I just need to wait a few days before putting gravel and fish in
I love having a fish tank again!
Update: so I noticed my last post date was 5 days ago yikes! I don’t even have an excuse, I’ve been on reading most days, just not had anything to say and that’s that.
I’ve been busy with the new fish tank, it’s had a complete overhaul, with new wood all round, and a new hood and light unit for top. The plumbing has all been finished and I spent some time today filling it all up and getting it running. I’m terrified the plumbing will leak in the night and flood the place! (I’m sure it won’t though)
Jess and I are off out on Sat night, we’re meeting friends for dinner in Glasgow, we’re so looking forward to this, we need the time together so bad, it’s hard to find ‘us’ time with so many children. Then the following weekend is our 1st wedding anniversary, I can’t believe its come around already, fastest year ever!
Lastly my littlest baba Indiana had the docs today, as shes still throwing up after her feeds, so she’s now been referred to the paediatrician, just waiting on the appointment. We’ll keep you posted.
My sleepy girl, this is my favourite moment of any day. (Taken with instagram)
Indiana has got worse, She’s so upset, Obviously she has an upset stomach.
We phoned the doctors yesterday and the nurse said she’d get the doctor to write a prescription for soy formula and phone us when its ready to pick up. We never heard from her all day, waited for a call this morning, Nothing. Stu tried phoning the surgery at 12 and it was closed for lunch, tried again an hour later..still closed. At 2.30pm we tried again and the phone was engaged. Finally at 3pm, we managed to get someone, they then told us that the perscription has been sat there since yesterday…Okay, well thanks for our call and wasting our time, its now Friday and we’re not sure where will even do her formula in our area and its too late to go to a bigger chemist.
At least we’re still getting lots of smiles inbetween her cries.
I feel like an awful mother feeding her formula thats making her so upset and very sick because the doctors are hopeless.
Fingers crossed the Soy milk is just what she’s needing and will calm her and her sickness, also, i hope her weight improves and she is goes back to her cheerful self.
My poor bambina, always putting on a brave face like her mama.
Bought my wife a present today (the lens), she’s been looking at this lens since I bought her the camera last year, and I always said as soon as I got some extra cash I’d buy it for her.
Can’t wait to see the photographs she shutters now, Rebecca’s wedding shoot just got awesome!
Ivey and I stopped in the town square to eat lunch today, it wasn’t long before we were attacked by flying rats (pigeons).
R.I.P Sushi the Siamese.
To the utter scumbag who ran over my Siamese cat this morning, and just left him at the side of the road, it’d have taken you 2 seconds to read his collar and call us.
I wouldn’t even have judged you, as we know he used to run across that road, and accidents happen.
Hope you feel guilty as fuck.
